Advising in respect of a high-profile individual’s estate following his suicide (including bringing several multi-million pound disputes on its behalf) including in respect of legal argument as to the continuation of an LLP after his death and the entitlement by virtue of commercial agreements entered into by the LLP.

Acting for a Claimant (being a high net worth individual) in respect of a multi-party fraud allegation brought against four defendants (including a 5* hotel in London) concerning the alleged misappropriation of 4 luxury cars (valued at £5.5m).

Acted on behalf of the Claimants in a multi-billion class action brought against a Russian Bank concerning the development and sale of properties in Cyprus.

Acted for the contractor in a series of cases relating to the development of offshore wind farms which were ultimately heard in the Supreme Court, in which the sums claimed exceeded £300m.

Advanced a claim against a leading pornography site as to the inadequacy of its procedures for obtaining consent for published content.

Acted on behalf of a former partner of a US Law Firm following his dismissal for allegedly misleading the Court in proceedings brought in the English Courts and in California. This allegation related to proceedings in which a worldwide freezing order had been obtained following allegations of terrorism made against the individual who was the subject of that order.

Advised a luxury car manufacturer in respect of £60m professional negligence proceedings brought against its insurance brokers.

Advised the owner of a platform designed to facilitate gambling transactions as to a claim against a former employee for misappropriating its intellectual property rights of code in that platform.

Defended our client (a shareholder and director of a company which develops technology for analysing oil and gas) against defamatory allegations of fraud and theft and reports to regulatory bodies including Interpol and the FCA.
